Come and explore opportunities with McKinsey & Company in EMEA

The Destination EMEA events are designed specifically for first-year MBA students based in the US who have a particular interest in working in Europe, Middle East, or Africa.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about our work, our people, and career opportunities in EMEA. Meet consultants from a wide range of offices across EMEA and from our functional practices Digital McKinsey and Operations.

Pierre Pont, a Partner in our London office who leads our Destination EMEA events, is very much looking forward to be hosting the dinners again this year: “I'm always excited when comes the time for Destination EMEA dinners. The people I meet there and the conversations I end up having, blow me away every time. I also find this to be a great way for MBAs who are interested in consulting and how McKinsey operates in EMEA to get to know us in a casual setting, ask any questions they might have and learn about the people behind the name."

Sarah Holcomb, Engagement Manager in London, will be co-leading the Destination EMEA events this year: "I joined McKinsey after attending the Destination EMEA event in Chicago four years ago. At the time, I was completing my MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. As a student, Destination EMEA was an unrivalled chance to get to know McKinsey colleagues and to appreciate the staggering diversity of the firm.  Coming back on the other side of the table, these events are an equally inspiring opportunity to have fascinating conversations with an amazingly diverse group of students. I am looking forward to meeting the next generation of Destination EMEA colleagues – it’s my chance to ‘pay-it-forward’!

Mariña Lopez, Recruiting Manager in Madrid, is hoping to meet again many future Associate Interns: “Every year, more than half of our associate interns in the Madrid office come from U.S. MBA schools, and most of them had joined one of the Destination EMEA dinners. I am looking forward to meeting many future colleagues who will be joining us next summer!”

Grégoire Jayot, Engagement Manager from the Dubai office (previously Casablanca), adds: "I have been participating in Destination EMEA events for four years now and am always excited when the dinner season comes back. The informal setting allows for genuine conversations between participants. Students don't hesitate to ask tough questions. Answering them is a great occasion for me to genuinely reflect on why I like my job, and to share best memories about it with them."

Andrew Goodman, a Partner in London, is excited about Destination EMEA: "The events are an incredible opportunity for students to meet consultants from a wide range of offices - from London to Lagos - in one evening, and to get a sense of the work that McKinsey is doing across the region."
